Green Tea

Whilst from the same Camelia sinensis plant as black tea, green tea leaves do not undergo oxidisation (fermentation) during processing. The health benefits of green tea are also well documented, due to containing Epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG) – a phytochemical reported as having beneficial effects towards cancer prevention, cardiovascular health and lowering cholesterol, with antibacterial and antiviral properties.
