From market stall to leading tea retailer

The Art of Tea began in 2000 with twelve varieties, sold from a stall at Hobart's Salamanca Market every Saturday.

Twenty-five years on, we still blend by hand in small batches — right here in Tasmania, now with over 150 teas and herbal blends to explore.

My tea order was timed to perfection, the Daintree tea arriving promptly just when supplies were dwindling. This is a delicate black tea - I'm used to a stronger, tannin rich black tea, so this one's enjoyable but in a different way. I've found it doesn't need much sugar.
