Tasmania is known for many things including its rugged wilderness and native wildlife. Some may even know of the thylacine, the large striped marsupial that became known as the Tasmanian tiger. It was the world’s largest marsupial carnivore! Living in Australia’s southern most island, Tasmania, the carnivorous marsupial tiger is beleived to be extinct. The last known animal died on September 7th 1936 in Hobarts’ Beaumaris zoo.
This light black Australian grown Daintree tea with bitey ginger, cinnamon and apple commemorates our Threatened Species and in particular the Tassie tiger.

The Tassie Tiger tea is delicious!
I started off weak, but stronger is good too. (Not at all bitter even when I forget it’s steeping… 😏) Lovely, like a mulled cider, perfect for winter AND it’s refreshing cold as well, so a good one for iced tea in summer
